“We make a trip to Forks of Cheat each year all the way from Baltimore. We joke that we make an annual trip to visit the moonshiner! All kidding aside, the Big Deal Rye is worth the long trip. The moonshine is very good, as is the wine (I personally like the sweet fruit wines). There is a lovely deck area for sitting and sipping. The staff is always friendly and get a kick out of our annual stock-up. I highly recommend Forks of Cheat!”

“The wine is okay. Even the dry wines seemed sweeter than you usually expect so if you like sweet wine you will like this place. My knock would be the outdoor space which is not kept up like you expect from a winery. The atmosphere could be greatly improved with some updates. The scenery is beautiful the distance which is enjoyable.”
